FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR THE PICNIC BOX
We want your picnic to be memorable and fun! So, we have developed these FAQs to help you make the best decisions about your requirements.

What items can be part of my Picnic Box?
We can include any of the items specified on the online menu. There are choices to suit all dietary requirements. Please specify any requirements in the Notes section. Please be advised that food prepared here may contain these ingredients or traces of these ingredients: Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Gluten, Peanuts, Soybeans, Tree Nuts, Fish and Shellfish.
Do we have to purchase Drinks, Food, Sweet Things and a Picnic Mat?
All items are optional. The only requirement is that the minimum order is £40.
Do we get plates, cutlery and cups
In order to create less waste we selected picnic items do not need to be on a plate, all wrapped and bagged individually. Takeaway cups can be purchased if needed.
How do we dispose of the rubbish?
Please dispose of your rubbish carefully, placing all items in a bin.
We include a bin bag as part of your Picnic Box. If you prefer not to have a bin bag included, for example if you wish to bring your own reusable bag, the you can choose to opt out by ticking the box on the menu.
How do we collect our Picnic Box?
Your Picnic Box will be ready at the date and time specified in your online order. You bring your order number to the café. Show the order to a member of staff and they will arrange to bring you the Picnic Box.
How is the Picnic Box supplied?
We supply the Picnic in a box using recycled boxes we have from our own orders. For large orders the Picnic Box may be supplied in more than one box. We can carry/ deliver your Picnic Box for you if you wish - just choose the delivery option.
Are there a toilet and baby changing facilities in the park?
Public toilets are in the building next to the café. There is a baby changing facility in the ladies’ toilets.
Do you provide tea and coffee in the Picnic Box?
We do not provide any hot drinks as part of the Picnic Box for Health and Safety reasons. However, you are welcome to purchase take away hot drinks, and other menu items such as smoothies or fresh juices from the café.
What if my plans change?
Let us know at least 1 day (24 hours) before if your plans are changing. We will accommodate any changes 1 days (24 hours) before the picnic date.
Are there cancellation charges?
- If you cancel more than 1 day before the start date of the Picnic Term, we will refund all sums paid;
- If you cancel less than 1 day (24 Hours) but more than 2 hours before the start date of the Picnic Term, we will retain 25% of the sum paid and refund the balance of any other sums paid (and any sums remaining due up to 25% of the Price will become due and payable.)
- If you cancel less than 2 hours before the start time of the Picnic Term, we will retain all sums paid and any outstanding balance of the Price due will become due and payable.
How do I pay?
After choosing your Picnic Box items, a secure payment window will pop up. Please follow the screen instructions to make your payment.
